Description: This is a one day workshop in which students will learn how to represent buildings (and other man made aspects of our landscape) on paper with pen and ink or pencil. We will start the class indoors discussing the principles of perspective and later we will move out of doors to find architecture in the neighborhood that inspires us. Students will spend the afternoon outdoors being guided through the creation of architectural drawings in the picturesque Bywater neighborhood. Students will leave the class with a strong understanding of how to draw the urban landscape from life.
Level: Some basic drawing experience.
Class price: $75
Materials fee: $20
Class size: Minimum 2, Maximum 10
